Earlier they had planned to tie up for Kirana stores, but now they are planning their own Kirana stores called Smart Point stores & the company is aggressively adding a new network of grocery stores called Reliance Smart Point Stores. They will set up these stores in the main city of the city.

As described above Smart Point stores are the offline version of the grocery shopping from Reliance which is called Reliance Smart Point stores. These stores are located in the city to serve the online order of groceries from their online shopping app.

Reliance Retail is planning to open thousands of small grocery stores — Reliance Smart Points and Smart Stores, they would be spread across an area of 700 sq feet and 1,500 sq feet respectively.

According to the statement, Reliance reportedly said that all these Reliance Smart Points are a smaller version of the Smart Stores with a more local presence in nearby markets.

According to Reliance Retail, the turnaround time for the launch of these stores from the conceptualization stage is around 45 days.

Smart point delivery point accepts all the options for payments. In digital payment modes, they accept JioMoney, PhonePe, Paytm, and Mobikwik as Digital Wallet options.

Sodexo cards on food products and beverages are also accepted by Smart Point. Traditional payment modes like Cash/Card are the option to pay for the home delivery services.
